Letter to The Hon. President of Sri Lanka

Dear president,

Good to know that you are inviting investors to Srilanka. To have investors in a country that requires some minimum standards without compromising anything of them. Like,

1) Good governance to assure the freedom and the safety of the foreigners who invest and live in the country.
2)High quality and prompt service from the government sector(which is famous for it's speedy actions in Sri Lanka) which related to business, like income tax office, business registrar, Llabour department, divisional secretariats and other licensing authorities  etc
3)Good transportation system,(which we have been improvising ),And high quality data and communication services with reasonable rates.
4)Media freedom and freedom of speech which removes the underlying fear about us from the investors.
5)Law and order , reliable law enforcement system (Police department)
6)Good education system and health care.(We have fairly good system now but should be modernized )

I like to put trust on you other than simply accusing you for everything ,you are told to be done, in the past , in many cases we don't know the truth yet.

The moves you have taken recently seems bringing some hope and it should not be a media stunt, targeting the upcoming election only, and I fear the current arguably worse political system may restrict you from doing betterment to our mother Lanka.

I have just mentioned the basic measures that we could take to have investors here, of course, you know much more than me in this regard as you too lived in a country where even the migrants enjoy limitless freedom and so many migrants entrepreneurs emerged from.

In the past we never had politicians who fulfill their words ,but, as you are known for your discipline and taking stern actions , I think if you do things with open mind and pure heart , simply be honest to your words ,the history will celebrate you like how we celebrate Lee Quan You of Singapore.

This post is written in a spur of the moment thought,

hope, all is well sir!
